Myanmar HIDA (AOTS) Alumni Association (MHAA), in collaboration with the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS) and Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) (TPA) with funds provided by AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC) Project, organized Professional Employee Development Training Program (5S & Kaizen) from November 12th to 14th, 2018, in Amazing Bagan Resort, Bagan, Nyaung Oo.

Mr. Aung Kyi Thwin , President of MHAA, introduced AOTS, AMEICC, MHAA, and Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) and  explained the objectives of the training program. He also highlighted the importance of 5S and Kaizen practices and activities not only in working environment but ordinary life.

Ms. Tomoe Watanabe, Assistant Manager of the Japan AOTS, attended the opening ceremony of the training program, delievered a welcome address, and expressed her gladness for successfully organizing the training program. She has mentioned her desire to host a similar trainning program in 2019 as well.

Mr.Yutthapong Supakorn, the industrial Specialist at Technology Promotion Association of Thailand and Japan, delivered a lecture.

Forty participants from various companies and associations participated in the training program.  At first, Mr. Aung Kyi Thwin, President of MHAA, gave a presentation on "Successful Japanese Business and Leadership" and this was followed by Mr. Yutthapong Supakorn's lecture on 5S & Kaizen practices with the practical workshop.

The program was so informative and fruitful that all the participants could spend an invariable time.

AOTS Network spanning across the world

The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships has established “Alumni Network” in 71 regions in 43 countries through training program for over 50 years.

The total number of persons who have participated in AOTS training program from over 190 countries and regions is approximately 380,000. “Alumni” is the NGO that is voluntarily organized overseas by trainees who finished their training in Japan and went back to their countries. This NGO is a network of human resources in industry including top managers and executive managers.
